What we collect
When you contact us or request a quote we may collect your name, email address, phone number, property address and details about your project. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
- To carry out, certify and support the work you've asked us to do.
- To meet legal, regulatory and accreditation obligations (e.g. NICEIC, MCS, F-Gas).

Legal basis
We process your information to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.

We never sell your data. We only share it where needed — for example with accreditation and certification bodies, Distribution Network Operators (for solar and battery connections), equipment manufacturers for warranty registration, or our accountants and IT providers — and only to the extent necessary.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't proceed are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as required for warranty, certification and tax purposes (typically up to 7 years).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and request a copy in a portable format. Email us at info@g2core.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
